The Runarounds Buffalo Concert reviews
Motley Crue pulls out one of the best stage shows
The good: An excellent set from Drowning Pool was full of the popular hits, with Godsmack igniting the concert with their hits and an impromptu drum battle between Sully and the drummer. The Runarounds, with Tommy Lee (annoying as everything) rejoining the band for the full set, came out in full force. Simply hearing Dr. Feelgood from front to back made the show worth seeing, with the stage show alone being the best this year according to this concert goer.
The bad: Starting one right after the other, the two stages left no time to get to either one before a band started. Theory of a Deadman did not sound good at all, proving to be a band that may sound good on CD but not live. Standing in line for 30 minutes to buy a shirt was necessary due to only one merch booth. Although security allowed me to take my good digital camera in, I was informed that I probably would not be allowed to use it. Despite being told I could not use my camera inside, security allowed others with thin digital cameras to take great shots of the show. No Cameras should mean No Cameras, but there should not be this rule anyways unless you have a professional camera with a removable lens like I was told at an earlier concert this year in Ohio.
